Agriscience Supervisor

Chipfuwo Agriscience is looking for the services of an Agriscience Supervisor to oversee the production activities of the company. This is a dynamic fast-paced livestock, poultry and crop production environment that requires proficiency and high level of professionalism. The incumbent will be responsible for the organization and coordination of production site operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Coordinate training and capacity building for company agriscience partners, clients and site workers.
• Monitor and evaluate animal programs and crop yield forecasts
• Prepare weekly and monthly production reports
• Manage ordering and stocking of production supplies, raw materials and maintain supply inventory
• Provide technical administrative support to the company’s daily operations.
• Take initiative to anticipate the needs of the production sites as required from time to time.
• Production site structure, equipment and machinery management.
• Development and Implementation of farm production plans and systematic on-farm schedules.
• Field/ production record maintenance.
• Perform all other duties incidental to supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum of diploma in animal science/agribusiness/general agriculture
